Richard will be remembered as a long time employee of G Bonazzoli and Sons, and Auciello Iron Works. He spent his evenings in his working garage at Lake Boone with the well-known sign that read Dick’s Dog House, where his neighbors and friends always knew where they could find him, they would stop by to chat with him or ask him for a helping hand. Dick was well known in Hudson with many friends throughout the town, along with always a noticeable truck. People would say, look at this new truck in town, it must be Dick Ferrera! When Dick and his wife retired they knew they’d want to move to Maine, where he spent h his summers at Sand Pond Family Campground, which he was part owner of.
This is where he made new friends with the campers that truly loved and respected him. As soon as summer ended, everyone knew where he’d be, the only time he wasn’t working, he would enjoy the Hunting season.
