Richard Michael LaCoy

Richard “Rich” Michael LaCoy, 41, of Hudson, formerly of Waltham, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 30, 2018.

Richard was born on August 5, 1977, a beloved son of Richard J. and Deborah A. (Gledhill) LaCoy. Rich was raised and spent most of his childhood in Waltham, but has been in Hudson, MA for the past 25 years. He worked as a triaxle driver for Manning Landscaping in Boxborough.

Proud of his New England roots, Rich was an avid fan of the local sports teams and especially of the New England Patriots. He was also a car enthusiast and enjoyed going to car shows with friends, as well as going deep sea fishing. Rich was very much loved by his friends and family and will be dearly missed forever.

In addition to his parents, Richard J and Deborah A. (Gledhill) LaCoy, he is also survived by his loving sister, Kerri A. Lacoy of Jamaica Plain, MA; his aunt Erica James; uncles, Michael Gledhill and wife Lorraine and James Gledhill and wife Beth and many close cousins and friends. Rich was predeceased by his uncle, Thomas Gledhill.

Relatives and Friends are invited to a period of calling hours from 5 pm until 8 pm on Monday, November 5, 2018, at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St. Hudson, MA. A funeral service in the funeral home will be held the next day on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at 10 am; followed by a procession to Forestvale Cemetery in Hudson for interment.
