Richard Sauta, 65, a life long resident of Hudson, MA, died peacefully at home Sunday, May 21, 2006 surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Lillian (Boreson) Sauta for forty three years.
He was born and raised in Hudson, MA, son of the late Vincenzo Sauta and is survived by his mother Mary (Terestre) Sauta of Hudson.
Mr. Sauta worked for DiTullio Construction Co. of Marlboro as a heavy equipment operator for over twenty five years and devoted his life to working the Sauta Family Farm in Hudson. He was a member of the Hudson Rod and Gun Club.
Besides his wife and mother he is survived by his children; Joseph Sauta and his wife Nancy of Cincinnati, OH, Suzen O'Coin and her husband Greg of Marlboro and Ann-Marie Sauta of Hudson. He is also survived by his brothers; James Sauta and his wife Betty of Stow, MA, John Sauta and his wife Elaine of Syracuse, NY, Charles Sauta and his wife Jean of Hudson, his sisters; Mary Allen of Marlboro, Theresa Henderson and her husband Richard of Natick, Connie Coffin of Rochester, NH, three grandchildren; Daniel O'Coin, Kaela and Aiden Sauta, and many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
His funeral will be held from the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home Inc, 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749 on Thursday, May 25, 2006 with a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Calling hours will be Wednesday, May 24 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial will take place in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson, MA
