Richard C. Seymour, 53, of Hudson, former longtime resident of Marlboro, died unexpectedly after being stricken ill at his residence. He is survived by his parents, Richard M. and Jeannette (Walcott) Seymour of Marlboro; his wife, Cheryl A. (Goyette) Seymour of Hudson; his son, Rich Seymour of Laconia, NH; his three brothers, Peter Seymour of Shrewsbury, Paul Seymour of Worcester, Philip Seymour of Hudson; his sister, Deborah Neale of North Attleboro; his companion, Theresa Kane of Hudson and many nieces and nephews.
Richard was born and raised in Marlboro where he attended local schools. He was a 1979 graduate of Hudson Catholic High School. Richard was currently working in the family business, Seymour Associates of Hudson. In his spare time, Richard enjoyed many outdoor activities, especially spending his weekends at his house in Wilmington, VT. He looked forward to skiing at Mt. Snow where he was a volunteer with the "AbilityPLUS Ski Program" a program designed to assist people that are physically and cognitively challenged. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Rick's life on Saturday, Nov. 30th at 1:00 p.m. in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. A time of visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service in the funeral home. Burial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
