Richard "Rick" Zelano

Richard “Rick” Zelano, 63, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 12, 2021.  He leaves behind his daughter Jillian Zelano of Rhode Island; his sister Arlene Zelano of Hudson; his niece Suzanne Granger and her husband Richard of Hudson; his grand-nieces: Larissa Granger, Tannis Friedman and Keygan Hogan; his grand-nephew Jacob Granger; his best friend and step-son Donald Beauragard and his wife Darla of Port Richey, FL; his grandson Gregory and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was born October 4, 1957 the son of the late Joseph and Frances (Morrocco) Zelano.  He grew up in Cranston, RI and graduated from Cranston High School East where he enjoyed playing and watching all sports.  Rick lived in St. Petersburg, Florida for many years before moving to Hudson, MA in 2019.  He worked in retail, most recently at Shortstop General Store in Hudson.  Rick was a kind-hearted person and everyone he met enjoyed his company.  He will be greatly missed.
