Rita V. Wager 84 died October 9th 2005 at Marlboro Hospital. She was the wife
of the late Vernon Wager Sr. who died in 1985. She was the daughter of the
late George Sr. and Diana (Martel) Allen. Born in Hudson Ma she was a Nurses
Aid for St. Jude Nursing Home in Hudson. She was member of Saint Michaels
Church, Third order of St. Francis, Sons of Mary in Framingham and was a
charter member of the Amvets Auxiliary. She was also active with the Hudson
Senior Citizens and raised several foster children.
Survived by her son Vernon Wager Jr. of Hudson, daughter Rita Flaharty of
Hudson and her foster children Mary Shore of Salem, MA and Anthony Stankus of
Worcester, MA. She is also survived by her sister Glenna Karvoski of Hudson and
four grandchildren Sean Flaharty, Patrick McQullian and Vern and Patrice Wager.
She was the sister of the late Willard Allen, George Allen Jr., Jessie Morin
and Mary Diani. Her funeral will be held from the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home
Inc, 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749 Thursday October 13th with a funeral mass
at 9:00am in Saint Michaels Church21 Manning street Hudson MA. Calling hours
will be Wednesday October 12th 2005 from 4:00 to 7:00pm at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Saint Michael Cemetery.
