Robert A. Booth, 65, of Hudson, MA died Friday, December 21, 2007 at his residence in Hudson.
Born in Clinton, he was the son of the late Robert W. Booth and Mary J. (Maskowsky) Booth of Rochester, NH. He was the former husband of the late Margaret (Alix) Booth.
He was a former resident of Marlborough moving to Hudson in 1987. He was employed by the Hudson Light & Power Dept. in Hudson from 1989 to 2007 as an Oiler until his recent retirement.
He was an avid fisherman and spent much of his leisure time fishing local lakes and streams.
Besides his mother he is survived by his 3 children, Robin Booth of Worcester, Paula Brodeur of Marlborough and David Booth of Springfield. He is also survived by his brother, Richard Booth and his wife Dolores of Rochester, NH; 2 grandchildren, Jennifer DaSilva and Shawn Russell; 1 great grandchild, Nicholas DaSilva and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007 at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 29, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service in the funeral home.
