Robert E. "Pete" Clark-71, of Hudson, MA, died Wednesday, October 18, 2006, at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Healthcare, Lake Ave.North, Worcester.
He is survived by his wife of forty eight years, Virginia (Romano) Clark.
Born in Weymouth, MA, he was the son of the late Thomas and Roberta (Trainor) Clark.
He was a graduate of Weymouth H.S. and was employed by the U.S. Immigration Dept. in Boston as an inspector until his retirement.
He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Glynn and the USS Latimer. He was a life member of the V.F.W. of Hudson and the Hudson Amvets. He was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans Post 82 of Marlborough.
Besides his wife he is survived by his sons; Michael Clark of Mountain Top, PA, Paul Clark of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by his sister; Nancy Shanahan of Whitman, MA and his two grandchildren; Andrea Viedt and Bryan Clark.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Isidore Church 429 Great Road Stow, MA. Calling hours will be held Monday, October 23, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. (www.tighehamilton.com)
