Robert "Bob" A. DeBoalt

Robert “Bob” A. DeBoalt, 63, of Hudson, passed away peacefully at home, on Thursday, November 8, 2018, with his beloved family by his side, after a period of declining health. He leaves behind his beloved wife of thirteen years, Yolanda F. Stafford.

Bob was born on March 13, 1955, in Stuttgart, Germany, a son of Barbara L. (Libby) Sleeper and the late Richard F. DeBoalt. Bob spent much of his childhood in Boylston, MA and following high school he attended Worcester Polytechnical Institute, where he studied Mechanical Engineering. After college Bob began a successful career as a mechanical engineer and eventually retired from IPG Photonics Corporation.

Bob was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, skiing and riding his motorcycle. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother and son. Bob will be dearly missed by many friends and loved ones.

Amongst his many heartbroken survivors, he leaves his beloved wife Yolanda F. Stafford; three children, Libby A. DeBoalt, Alyson M. DeBoalt and Maxwell R. DeBoalt all of Middleton, MA; his mother, Barbara L. (Libby) Sleeper; two siblings, Deborah A. Brennan and her husband David of Middleton, MA and David A. DeBoalt and his wife Amy of Carlisle, New York and his niece Nicole S. Stafford of Hudson.
