Robert A. Milliken Sr., 77, of Hudson, died on Wednesday, July 13th at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jeanette E. (Devarenne) Milliken of Hudson.
Robert was born and raised in Waltham, son of the late Arthur L. and Catherine E. (Rehill) Milliken. He attended local schools in Waltham and served in the U.S. Air Force for 3 years as a mechanic. Robert was employed as a mechanic for over 20 years at Tuck's Service Center in Hudson. He was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson and was honored to serve as a call firefighter in Hudson for 19 years.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his four children, Robert A. Milliken Jr. and his wife Laura of North Hampton, NH, Michael S. Milliken and his wife Marybeth of Marlboro, Debbie Milliken of Hudson and Mark P. Milliken and his wife Cathleen of Worcester. He is also survived by his three sisters, Mary-Ann Milliken of Waltham, Lorraine Muizulis of Waltham, Donna Wilgus of Hudson; his brother, Arthur Milliken of Marlboro; his 8 grandchildren, Ashley Milliken and Robert Milliken III of North Hampton, NH, Kendra, Sara and Sean Milliken of Marlboro, Chad, Ryan and Alysha Milliken of Worcester and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 18th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 17th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
