Romeo J. LeBlanc

Romeo J. LeBlanc, a beloved Dad, Pepere, and great-Pepere passed away peacefully on October 18, 2024, at the age of 84. Born on May 17, 1940, in Ste. Marie-de-Kent, New Brunswick, Canada, Romeo was a proud Painter and enjoyed "coloring the walls" of all his customers.  He had a passion for fishing and was considered a great fisherman.  He was a member of the Leominster Fishing Club, Romeo also enjoyed playing the card game "200" on Saturday and Sunday nights.  He loved spending time at his summer cabin on the lake in Quebec, Canada.  He loved his family very much and loved spending time with them.

Romeo recently lost his wife, Solange (Dumont) LeBlanc, with whom he shared 62 years of marriage. Romeo is survived by his devoted children: Michel J. LeBlanc (Paulette) of  Old Orchard Beach, ME; Carol M. Melanson (Roger) of Cary, NC; Norman J. LeBlanc (Anna) of San Antonio, TX; and Christien J. LeBlanc of Lancaster, MA. 

He also leaves behind his five grandchildren, Alex LeBlanc, Brittany McNiff, Justin LeBlanc, Sophia LeBlanc, and Christien LeBlanc; his two great-grandchildren, Beckett and Patrick McNiff; his siblings Antoinette (Regis) Mazerolle, Francois J. LeBlanc, Harvey J. (Rose Marie) LeBlanc, Bernard J. (Bertha) LeBlanc, Homere J. (Cathy) LeBlanc; his sisters-in-law Alda LeBlanc and Maria LeBlanc; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Romeo was predeceased by his brothers, Roderick, Bertin, and Raoul LeBlanc. Their memories will remain in the hearts of family and friends, who will always honor the bond they shared.

As we remember Romeo J. LeBlanc, we celebrate a life filled with love, dedication, and a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit will live on in the cherished memories, stories, and love he instilled in his family.

Visitation for Romeo will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 4pm-7pm, at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA. A brief period of visitation will take place from 10am-11am, followed by a Funeral Service for Romeo on Saturday, November 2, 2024, beginning at 11am, at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, your donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Organization or to an Organization of your choice.
