Ronald F. Sarsfield Sr.

Mr. Ronald Sarsfield Sr., 89, of Clinton, Ma. He was born on May 6, 1934, the son of  Harvey Sarsfield Sr. and Alice (Newhall) Sarsfield. He died July 31, 2023 in Sterling  Village Nursing & Rehab Facility after battling setbacks from a surgery in early May.

He was the youngest of his seven siblings, all of whom predeceased him: Harvey,  Robert, Harold, George Mildred, Shirley and Ethel.

He leaves his daughter Lorraine DiNardo and husband Jeff, son Ronald Sarsfield Jr.  and wife Kim, adopted son Craig and wife Tina, son Kevin and wife Amy, son Tyson  and wife Sheila, as well as his stepsons Gordon, Keith, Shawn, and Kevin. He also leaves 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren, and many  nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley (Germain) Sarsfield, his son David, and  stepson Shane.

Ron was a very active man until his untimely health issues. He was retired from  Marine/Quantam Plastics Co. after many years of loyal service. He had numerous  other jobs throughout his life and continued working at Paul’s Farm in Harvard until this  Spring. Paul was a long time friend and support man.

He enjoyed fishing, farming, raising many animal species, and driving around enjoying  the view or dropping in to visit friends and family.

There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023 at 11:00 AM in Forestvale Cemetery, Broad Street, Hudson, MA. Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
