Rory McCabe, 55, of Hudson, died on February 6, 2008 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after a prolonged illness. He is survived by his beloved wife of 10 years, Lisa (Naclerio) McCabe.
Rory was born in Framingham, son of the late Edward T. and Vivian (Gaudet) McCabe. He graduated from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School in 1970. He enjoyed a 28-year career as a hair stylist in the Ashland-Marlborough-Hudson area. Music, motorcycles, and fishing were his passions.
Besides his wife, Rory is survived by a son, Jarrod McCabe, and stepdaughter, Kelly Prashaw; a brother E. Thomas McCabe, Jr. and wife, Judith, of Westborough; several nieces and nephews; and his dog, Cami. He is pre-deceased by his sister, Vivian McCabe, and brother, Joel McCabe.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 9 at 11:00 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. A calling hour from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. will be held Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
