Rose Marie (Scansaroli) Garcia, 82, of Peterborough, NH, formerly of Hudson, died Tuesday, November 16th at Pheasantwood Nursing Home in Peterborough, NH. She was the wife of the late Frank P. Garcia who died in 2003.
Rose was born in Framingham, daughter of the late Peter and Catherine (Saia) Scansaroli. She was a long time resident of Hudson before moving to New Hampshire with her husband Frank after retirement. She was a self employed hairdresser and owned and operated Rose's Beauty Salon in Hudson for many years.
Rose is survived by her daughter, Kathleen A. Garcia of Mashpee; her daughter-in-law, Trudy Roberts of Mashpee; her step-daughter, Nancy Garcia of Maine and her brother, Albert Scansaroli of Stow. She is also survived by her nephews and niece, Aaron, Brian, Gary and Olivia Scansaroli. She was predeceased by her son, Paul Garcia in 1988.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 20th at 11:00 a.m. in Forestvale Cemetery, Broad Street, Hudson. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of: Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
