Ruth L. (Murphy) Campbell, 95, of Hudson, MA, died Friday, July 27, 2007 at Bolton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Marlborough.
She was the wife of James Campbell who died in 1979.
She was born in Prince Edward Island, Canada, daughter of the late Wallace and Annie (Campbell) Murphy.
She is survived by her 2 children, Rita E. Goldsberry of Hudson, MA and Katherine Sweeney of Emira, Prince Edward Island, Canada. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Rita MacDonald of Canada.
She will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, July 30, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Michaels Church, 21 Manning street Hudson, MA. Family and friends may attend calling hours Sunday, July 29, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Peabody, MA.
