Scott P. Stead, 42, of Boylston, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018, in Worcester.
Scott was born on September 10, 1976, in Lynn, Ma. He was raised in Peabody and the North Shore area where he attended Peabody Veterans Memorial High School. He later moved with his family to Boylston, Ma. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for several years.
Scott cherished his family and was extremely loyal and fiercely protective of them. He had a kind heart, which always had a special place for animals and children. Some of his favorites included his “mumma’s” corn chowder, Taco Bell and anything flavored with some ADOBO seasoning. He loved basketball and was a diehard Celtics fan.
Scott is survived by his parents, Richard and Bonnie J. (Hallums) Smith of Hudson; 3 brothers, Roy Stead of Boylston, James Stead and his wife Amanda of Berlin, and Shawn Stead and Rebekah Obermeyer of Hudson; 2 sisters, Christina Pears and her husband Nicholas of Leominster, and Erika Parsons and her wife Jessica of Worcester; and 9 nieces and nephews.
