Shannon M. (MacDonald) Fleming, 77, of Hudson, died unexpectedly on Saturday, November 28th at Marlboro Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Erroll E. "Bud" Fleming Jr. of Hudson.
Shannon was born and raised in Athol, daughter of the late Glenn H. and Grace C. (Martin) MacDonald and was a graduate of Athol High School. She moved to Hudson in 1964 with her husband and was a former School Bus Driver in Hudson for many years. She most recently worked as a clerk for the former Shaw's Supermarket in Hudson until her retirement. She was a member of the former Stratton Hill Political Association and was an avid bingo player.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her four children, Brian Fleming and his wife Karen of Tolland, CT, Bruce Fleming of Northboro, Nora McGuinness of Rhode Island and Erin Conlon of Wisconsin. She also leaves her two grandchildren, Patrick and Lauren Peaslee of Hudson.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 3rd at 10:00 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 2nd, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
