Shirley A. Chamberlain, 72, of Hudson, died Friday, April 28, 2006, at Metro West Medical Center in Framingham, MA. She was the wife of the late Warren Chamberlain who died in 1972. Shirley was born in New York, NY daughter of the late James and Marion (Pickard) McNabb. She was a member of the Hudson Senior Center and the AARP organization. She was a graduate of Hempstead H.S. in New York and was employed by the former Arthur's Department Store in Hudson as a sales clerk.
She is survived by her children; Susan Shields and her husband William of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Michael Chamberlain and his wife Patricia of Hudson. She is also survived by her brother James McNabb of New York and sister Joan Rogers of Florida, six grandchildren; Lisa, Michael Jr. and Sara Chamberlain, William Jr., Meghan and Katherine Shields, one great grandchild; Matthew W. Peery. She was the sister of the late Robert McNabb.
Funeral services will be held from the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home Inc., (www.tighehamilton.com) 50 Central St, Hudson, MA 01749 Tuesday, May 2, 2006 with a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Visitation will be Monday, May 1, 2006 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson, MA.
