Shirley M. Champagne, 57, of Hudson, died Sunday, Jan. 31st at UMASS Memorial Healthcare, University Campus in Worcester. She leaves her husband of six years, Raymond Goguen of Hudson.
Shirley was born and raised in Leominster, daughter of the late Romeo Champagne and is survived by her mother, Hazel (Lynas) Champagne of Berlin. She was a graduate of Leominster High School and later received her Bachelor's Degree from Clark University in Worcester. She was employed as a manager by Dialogic, Inc. in Needham and prior to that, was employed by NMS Communications, Inc. in Framingham for many years until NMS was acquired by Dialogic. Shirley was best known for putting her family's and friend's best interests first and will always be remembered for her strength.
Besides her husband and mother, Shirley is survived by her son, Chris Jeznach of Worcester; her daughter, Patty Jeznach of Marlboro and her sister, Cindy Geldart of Berlin. She is also survived by her two nieces, Jenny Geldart of Somerville and Carrie Geldart of Milford.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday Feb. 6th at 10:30 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, Feb. 6th from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service in the funeral home.
