Shirley E. (Jones) Dedecko, 81 of Leominster, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at Leominster Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Shirley was born in Concord, Ma, the daughter of the late Walter and Esther (O’Malley) Jones. She was raised in Maynard and after graduating high school, she attended the School of Art in Boston.
Shirley was a talented artist, working for many years Painting and Manufacturing at Lance Corp in Hudson in addition to several other local companies throughout the years.
She is survived by her 8 children, Debra Robichaud of Lunenburg, Maureen Parker and her husband Jeff of Hudson, Sheila Bilotta and her husband Joe of Lunenburg, Ellen Chouinard and her husband Paul of Leominster, Sherry Gray and her husband Tim of Stow, Jeannie Semar and her husband Mike of Malvern, PA, Donald Dudley and his wife Nancy of Westminster and John Dedecko of Marlboro; eighteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Shirley was predeceased by her former husband John E. “Jack” Dedecko; her brother, Richard Jones and her son-in-law, Peter Robichaud.
Family and friends are invited to a period of visitation from 4-7 pm on Friday, April 6, 2018, at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St., Hudson, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am the next day, Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect Street, Marlboro; followed by a procession to Evergreen Cemetery in Marlboro for final committal services.
