Silvia Cosme

Silvia Cosme, 87, of Hudson, MA, passed away on Friday June 9, 2023, after a long period of illness. She is predeceased by her parents Simon and Matilde, her husband Marciano, her sisters Nelida, Esther, and Lucy, and her brothers Anibal, Nestor, and Millo.

She is survived by her daughters Jacqueline Cosme, Gilda Schonning and her husband Kevin, and Miriam DuPonte and her husband Ronald, her sister Iraida Roman, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In her early years , Silvia taught Catechism. She also worked at Data General and Arrow Automotive in Hudson, MA.

Silvia was a loving and strong woman. She was courageous in every way. Prior to her illness, she faithfully attended Mass at Saint Michael Parish in Hudson, MA, every Sunday. She would also visit Daisy, who was like a daughter, and Edwin, Carmen, and Paco.

Silvia will be missed by all who have known her – especially her best friend, Carmen. She was the sweetest woman you could ever meet.

Funeral Services for Silvia will be private, under the direction of Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home.
