Solange LeBlanc (Dumont) of Hudson, MA formerly of Waltham, MA passed away May 28, 2024, peacefully after her declining health these last few months. She was 84 years old.
Solange enjoyed many crafts to fill her days. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, and crocheting. She loved spending time at her summer cabin by the lake in Quebec. She was a great cook and loved to entertain her family.
Solange leaves behind her devoted and loving husband Romeo J. LeBlanc. Three loving sons, Michel J. LeBlanc (Paulette) of Old Orchard Beach, ME; Norman J. LeBlanc (Anna) of San Antonio, TX; Christien J. LeBlanc of Lancaster, MA; and loving daughter Carol Melanson (Roger) of Cary, NC.
Five grandchildren - Alex LeBlanc, Brittany McNiff, Justin LeBlanc, Sophia LeBlanc, Christien LeBlanc - and great-grandson Beckett McNiff.
Additionally, Solange leaves behind her siblings, Annette Dumont, Gregoire Dumont (Yvette), Ginette Dumont; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Solange was predeceased by her brothers, Fernand, Yvon, Bertrand, Gaston, and a sister Nicole.
The visitation for Solange LeBlanc will be held on June 7th at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home in Hudson from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A brief period of visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on June 8th, followed by a Funeral Service in honor of her beautiful life starting at 10:00 AM at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
As we bid farewell to Solange in this realm, let us remember her for the love she shared and the beauty she brought into the world. Her memory will forever be etched in our hearts as we carry forward the legacy of a remarkable woman who graced our lives with grace and tenderness.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Heart Association.
