Stephen M. Levell, 57, of Putnam, CT, formerly of Hudson, died on Thursday, Aug. 20th at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT after a long period of declining health.
He is survived by his siblings, Karen Levell of Hudson, David Levell Sr. and his wife Diane of Hudson, Andrew Levell and his wife Tina of Hillsboro, NH and was predeceased by his brother Edward P. Levell. He is also survived by his nephew, David Levell Jr.; his nieces, Sarah Levell, Cassie Levell, and Meghan Araujo along with many other relatives and friends. He was the uncle of the late Nicholas Araujo.
Stephen was born in Fall River, son of the late Edward F. Levell Jr. He was raised in Hudson where he attended local schools and was a 1976 graduate of Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School in Marlboro. Stephen resided in Hudson for most of his life and has spent the past 8 years in Connecticut. He was employed by B&D Auto Parts of Shirley, MA in sales for many years.
Stephen will be remembered fondly as a loving brother, devoted uncle and loyal friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and was very proud of his nieces and nephews. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, an occasional hunting trip but mostly loved being surrounded by his friends. He will truly be missed.
A funeral service and celebration of Stephen's life will be held on Sunday, Aug. 30th at 12:00 noon in the Tighe-AHamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Family and friends may visit with the family from 11:00 to 12:00 noon prior to the service. Burial services will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson.
