Steven R. Cutler, 58, of Hudson, died on Tuesday, June 17th after a short period of declining health.
Steven was born and raised in Marlboro, son of Dorothea (McCabe) Coulombe and the late Bradford P. Cutler Jr. He attended local schools and was a member of the Marlboro Youth Baseball League. Following high school, Steven served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam War Veteran. He was honorably discharged from the Army in July of 1975. He resided in California for many years before returning to Hudson in 2003. He spent time as bartender at the Cozy CafAC. in Marlboro and also spent time as a bartender at the Hudson Amvets. He was a member of the Hudson Amvets and Hudson Eagles.
Steven led a simple life and cherished the times he could spend with his family and friends. He enjoyed watching all the Boston sports teams on television and attending games whenever he had the opportunity. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his two sons, Nathan Cutler of Maryville, TN and Jamie Cutler and his wife Tammie of Clinton. He is also survived by his mother, Dorothea (McCabe) Coulombe of Hudson; his siblings, Cynthia Letendre and her husband Joseph of West Boylston, David Cutler and his wife Heather of Clinton, Susan Muldoon and her husband Thomas of Framingham, Carol Hanson and her husband Richard of Sterling; his granddaughter, Chelsea Cutler of Manchester, NH; his grandson, Tristan Cutler of Clinton and his many loving nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Sandy (Baker) Cutler who died in 2000 and Mark Cutler who died in 2011.
Family and friends may attend a calling hour on Saturday, June 28st from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 followed by a memorial service and celebration of Steven's Life at 12:00 noon in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson.
