Steven A. Johnson, 92, of Hudson, died Sunday, October 17 at his residence with his loving family at his side. He was the husband of the late Ethel (MacLean) Johnson for 62 years until her passing in 2004.
Mr. Johnson was born in Boston, son of the late Peter A. and Minnie (Crimmins) Johnson. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the European Theater with the 138th Ordinance Battalion of the U.S. Army until being honorably discharged in 1945. He worked as a Union Carpenter for 70 years as a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenter's and Jointer's, Local 475, Boston. He was a member of the Hudson Senior Center.
He is survived by his children, Christine Bisset and her husband William of Hudson, Janice Johnson and her husband Walter McGrail of Marlboro and Steven Johnson Jr. and his wife Joyce of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Bill Bisset Jr. of New City, New York, Matthew Bisset of St. Petersburg, Florida, Christina Cadden of Hudson, Stacy Hart of Upper Marlboro, Maryland and Nicole Lobato of Colorado Springs, Colorado and his nine great grandchildren..
