Thelma L. (Diatalevi) Persico

Thelma (Diatalevi) Persico, 94, of Hudson, MA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Life Care Center of Acton, after a period of declining health. She was married to her beloved husband of 50 years, Modesto (Mackie) Persico, who predeceased her in 2009. He was the love of her life.

Thelma was born and raised in Framingham, MA , daughter of the late Egidio and Desolina (Brandini) Diatalevi.

Thelma worked for many years as a secretary for Weston Nurseries, but she considered caring for her family her most important job. She was fiercely devoted to her husband, her children and her home and family always came first to her.  Throughout her life she was a devout catholic and a long time member of Saint Michael Parish in Hudson. Thelma also loved to watch and cheer for the New England Patriots.

Thelma is survived by her three children Lisa Dearth and her husband Glenn, Paul Persico and his girlfriend Nancy, Peter Persico and his wife Sally along with four grandchildren Stephen and his wife Suyon, Kaitlyn and her husband Stephen, Edward and Eleanore and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her siblings John Diatalevi and Dorothy Marinelli.

A private family service will be held.  Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home is honored to be assisting with her arrangements.
