Theresa Sonia

Theresa (“T.T.”) Pitman Cormier Sonia passed away peacefully on March 1, 2023 at D’Youville Life and Wellness Community in Lowell, Ma., where she spent the last 2 years of her life.

TT was born November 15, 1938, in Salem, Massachusetts. She spent most of her life in Saugus, Lynn, and Hudson, Ma. TT was the ultimate caregiver and helper to anyone and everyone. She worked as a nurse for many years and also as a nanny. Her pride and joy were her children, grandchildren, her animals, and her garden.

TT is survived by her son John Musto, wife Kimberly of Boxborough, Mass, daughters Marylou Moura and husband David of Medford, Mass., Donna M. Roe and husband Carl Hindy of Newmarket NH, and Anne Thordal of Minot, ND. In addition, she leaves behind grandchildren Garrett and Dana Musto, Michael, Kristin, and Christopher Moura, William and Shaun Roe, Lydia Godfrey, Kelli Fundingsland, Sara Clow, Melanie Musto, their respective spouses and partners, and several great grandchildren.  She is predeceased by son James Musto, grandson, Brandon Musto, and husband Kenneth R. Sonia.

There will be no public services or viewings. Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home in Hudson, Mass. is coordinating arrangements. A private graveside burial will be held at Forestvale Cemetery in Hudson, Ma., where she will be interred, with her predeceased son.
