Therese M. Banfield

Therese M. Banfield, 93, of Hudson passed away on January 31, 2021, after a brief illness. She was born in Concord MA on May 17, 1927, the daughter of the late Thomas and Maude (Cameron) Finan.

Therese will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Therese enjoyed traveling in her younger years. She loved Sunday dinners and get togethers with her family.  Therese retired from Digital Equipment Corporation in 1990 and  was a long time volunteer at Marlboro Hospital.

Therese is predeceased by her husband George E. Banfield and her sister Dorothy (Pat) Sheridan of Florida. She is survived by her sons: Stephen Banfield and his wife Alison of Billerica, William Banfield and his wife Jeanne of Dracut and her daughter Janet MacGillivary and her husband Dayle of Maynard, her beloved grandchildren; Mark Banfield, Colleen Tracy, Jeff Banfield, Brian Banfield, Katie Banfield and Karen Castagna and her great granddaughters; Vivian, Caroline, Maxwell and Norah as well as her sister-in -law Ruth Banfield of Stow along with many nieces and nephews.

Services will be private. A memorial mass will be scheduled for a later date.
