Stow, MA
Vivian D. (Prime) Bandzul, 80, of Stow, died on Thursday, Nov. 17th at Marlboro Hospital. She was the beloved wife of 54 years to the late Leroy E. Bandzul who died in 2007.
Vivian was born and raised in Waltham, daughter of the late Howard and Florence (Longmeyer) Prime. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Waltham High School. Vivian was a devoted mother, spending most of her life raising her family and also worked as secretary for the family business, Vulcan Industries in Hudson.
Vivian has resided in Stow since 1966 and was well known for her cultivation of roses. She was a member of the American Rose Society and also enjoyed knitting in her spare time.
She is survived by her three children, Pamela F. Buckley and her husband William of Gulf Breeze, FL, John H. Bandzul and his partner Wendy Madden of Hudson, Scott E. Bandzul and his partner Linda S. Malo of West Boylston; her three sisters, Nancy Barcca of New Hampshire, Murial Boback of California, Pearl Porier of Florida and her three grandchildren, Shane, Jason and Christina Bandzul.
Family and friends may attend a funeral service and celebration of Vivian's life on Monday, Nov. 28th at 3:00 p.m. at the Union Church of Stow, 317 Great Road, (Rt. 117), Stow, MA. (Next to Stow Police Dept.). There are no calling hours and burial services are to be private.
