Vivian D. (Lanoue) MacDonald, 80, of Marlboro, died Saturday, Nov. 8 at Marlboro Hospital. She was the wife of 45 years to Chester MacDonald who died in 1991.
Born in Marlboro, daughter of the late Charles and Exilda (Pontbriand) Lanoue. Vivian resided in Marlboro and Hudson most of her life and was employed as an assembler for the former Data Translations Co. in Marlboro for several years, prior to that she was an administrator for the former Pleasant View Nursing Home in Marlboro which her parents owned and operated.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Chester C. MacDonald of Hudson and Scott M. MacDonald of Lancaster; 3 daughters, Diane V. Hanson, Joyce Pavento and Karen MacDonald, all of Marlboro. She is also survived by her sister Claire Dunn of Marlboro; 12 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Exilda M. Lanoue and Norman Lanoue.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Matthias Church, 409 Hemenway Street, Marlboro. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Marlboro. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 11, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749.
