Walter D. Allsobrooks, 64, of Hudson, former long time resident of Berlin, died on Monday, Aug. 5th at Marlboro Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Walter was born and raised in Berlin, son of the late Arthur H. Allsobrooks Sr. and Evelyn M. (Mosher) Allsobrooks. Throughout Walter's life, he held several various jobs, most recently with Walmart in Hudson but was a long time shipping and receiving clerk with Thomas Taylor and Sons of Hudson. He looked forward to gathering with friends nightly at local coffee shops and attending various church suppers with family and friends. Most of all, Walter enjoyed spending time with his family, especially during the holidays and the special yearly events the family would gather. He will be greatly missed by them all.
Walter is survived by his three sisters, Frances May Murphy of Orange, Edith Mary Lane and her husband Skip of Jaffrey, NH, June Elaine Willey of Orange and his brother, Arthur H. Allsobrooks Jr. and his wife Donna of Cinnaminson, NJ. He also leaves his many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many cousins.
A memorial service and celebration of Walter's life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 17th at 2:00 p.m. in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. A calling hour will be held on Saturday, Aug. 17th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
