Wanda M. Donaldson

Wanda M. Donaldson, beloved wife, devoted mother, passed away on May 28, 2024 in Lancaster, MA. She was born on March 27, 1933, in her beloved hometown of Hudson, MA to the late Joseph and Helen (Deptula) Andziulewicz.

Wanda led a rich and fulfilling life defined by hard work and unwavering dedication to her family. She touched the hearts of many through her various careers at establishments such as the 5&10 store on Main St Hudson, and Deerfoot Farm Meat Plant on the bacon line. Her smiling face was a familiar sight as a cashier at The Big D and The Victory Market. Though she had to forgo completing high school to support her loved ones, Wanda's commitment to providing for her family never wavered.

A passionate individual with a heart of gold, Wanda's personality radiated kindness and love. She was fiercely loyal to her family and constantly prioritized the well-being of her boys above all else. Known for her melodic voice, Wanda found solace in singing and brought joy to those around her through music. Her hobbies reflected her vibrant spirit - from singing at midnight mass during Christmas to enjoying the timeless tunes of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. In moments of leisure, she frequented the movies and cherished Sundays spent at the Cowboy Ranch in N.H., as well as vacations at Hampton Beach.

Wanda's warm personality endeared her to all who knew her. Her loyalty to family knew no bounds; always putting her boys first and caring for each family member with a heart as vast as the ocean. Her kindness and generosity were matched only by her love for those around her.

She is survived by her loving sons Robert C. Donaldson and Debra of Agawam, MA and William J. Donaldson and Lee of Andover, NH; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandsons. Wanda is predeceased by her brother Joseph Andziulewicz and husband Robert E. Donaldson.

Services to honor Wanda's life will be held at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home in Hudson on June 6th starting with visitation from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM followed by a Catholic Mass at Saint Michael's Parish at 10:00 AM followed by a procession to Saint Michael Cemetery.
