Wayne C. Blenkhorn, 66, of Marlboro, formerly of Berlin, died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 13th at his residence.
Wayne was born in Marlboro and raised in Berlin, son of the late Glendon Blenkhorn and survived by his mother, Matilda "Millie" (Polich) Blenkhorn of Hudson. He has been a long time employee of the Price Chopper Supermarket in Marlboro working in the frozen foods dept. Wayne had many interests but he was known as a history buff and also dabbled in the stock market in his spare time. He enjoyed listening to sports and classical music, and was an avid reader.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his brother, Ronald "Ron" Blenkhorn of Shirley and was the brother of the late George Blenkhorn who died in 1976. He is also survived by his many cousins, friends, and co-workers he truly respected and enjoyed working with.
Family and friends are invited to visit with the family and remember Wayne on Saturday, March 22nd from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at theTighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial services will be private in South Cemetery, Berlin.
