He enjoyed being outdoors whether planting and tending his gardens or bow hunting for deer in the woods. Although his formal education ending with high school, his quest for knowledge was ongoing; always tuning into educational shows like Nova and teaching himself how do fix and build many things around the farm. Billy also enjoyed playing golf and watching the New England Patriots. Billy's other passion in life was music, spending time in the barn listening to Sunday Jazz and Blues with his children as well as the classic rock of his youth was a normal ritual for him.
