William G. "Jerry" Lepire-78, of Hudson, MA, died Saturday, January 13, 2007, at U-Mass Memorial Healthcare, University Campus in Worcester, MA.
He was the husband of the late Annette (Berthiaume) Lepire who died in August of 2000.
Born in Central Falls, RI, he was the son of the late Josephat and Diana (Bedard) Lepire.
He was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy H.S. in Rhode Island and attended Northeastern University recieving an associates degree. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army. He was employed by the former Digital Corp. and later worked for Hanaford Supermarkets in Hudson. He was a life-member and secretary of the Hudson Lodge of Elks. He was a member of the Hudson Amvets.
He is survived by his two sons, Steven Lepire of Hudson, MA, and Will Lepire of Richmond, VA; his daughter, Rochelle Prince of Gainesville, FL. He is also survived by his brother Roger Lepire and sister Rita Tetreault, both of Johnston, RI, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, January 20, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michaels Church 21 Manning street Hudson, MA. Calling hours will be held Friday, January 19, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. The Hudson Elks will conduct their ritual at 6:00 p.m. Friday evening.
