William “Roger” Pelletier, 83 of Hudson, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, February 4, 2018, at St. Patrick’s Manor in Framingham where he was surrounded by his family.
Roger was born in Melrose, MA and grew up in Wakefield and Reading, MA. He is the son of Ernest Eugene Pelletier and Helen Grace (Koschivitz) Pelletier. Roger graduated from Reading High School in 1952 and served in the Army Reserve, United States Army, and Army National Guards from 1957-1968 as a helicopter and aircraft mechanic supervisor.
Roger is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carole Ann (Van Wart) Pelletier, their four children, Donna Brown and her husband Lorne Gilsig of Maynard, Cynthia Seeto and her husband Paul of Clinton, Kathleen Pelletier and her spouse Kelly Rooney of Novi Michigan, and Christopher Pelletier of Mooresville NC, 6 grandchildren, and his brother, David E. Pelletier. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his siblings Ernest, Donald, Robert, and Jean.
Roger’s children would love to thank all the wonderful staff at St. Patricks Manor who cared for him with love and attention for the past three years.
Relatives and friends are invited to a period of calling hours on Saturday, February 10, 2018, from 9:00am until 10:00am, and funeral service beginning at 10:00am in the Chapel at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central Street, Hudson MA, followed by a procession to Forestvale Cemetery in Hudson. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made in Roger's memory to the Hudson Animal Hospital.
