Yoo Young Sook (Sookie) McClellan, 66, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28. She was born on June 24, 1949 in Seoul, Korea and chose to settle in Clinton, Massachusetts with her husband, Paul J. McClellan, who predeceased her in 1984. She is survived by her son, Daniel McClellan and his wife Liz from Clinton, Massachusetts and her daughter, Michelle Madden and her husband Richard from Southington, Connecticut as well as her family in Korea and her caring in-laws, Andrea Downes of Hudson, Massachusetts, Patricia Dority of Northeast Harbor, Maine, Daniel McClellan, at your nearest fishing hole, Kenneth McClellan of Las Vegas, Nevada, Thomas McClellan of Charlton, Massachusetts, John McClellan and his wife Brenda of Hudson, Massachusetts, Margaret Box and her husband Charles of Ellsworth, Maine and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Recently retired from the Clinton School Department, Sookie enjoyed gardening and was an avid sports fan. At Young Sook's request there will be no calling hours and a private burial will be held at a later date when she will be laid to rest with her husband in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson, Massachusetts. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice in Sookie's name.
