Zeta (Brack) Powers, 75, of Hudson, died Thursday, Aug. 27th at Marlboro Hospital. She laws the wife of the late John G. Powers for 52 years until his death in 2006.
Zeta was born and raised in Brighton, daughter of the late William and Myrtle (Snow) Brack and was a graduate of Brighton High School. She moved to Hudson from Watertown in 1964 and has resided in Hudson the past 45 years. Zeta worked for many years as a receptionist for the Marlboro Chamber of Commerce and prior to that was employed as a teller by the former First National Bank and WCIS Bank of Marlboro. She will be missed by the many friends she had come to know and most of all by her loving family.
She leaves her beloved children, William Powers of Hudson and Karen Tanner and her husband Keith of Grafton. She is also survived by her three sisters, Judy Landry and her husband Robert of Hudson, Dianne Toney and her husband Walter of Chelmsford and Dorothy Jackel of Glen, NH along with many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 1st at 11:00 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Monday, Aug. 31st, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
